Established in 2024, Book Lovers Bookshop is the United Kingdom’s first physical bookstore dedicated to Romance Fiction.
Book Lovers Bookshop was founded by Caden Armstrong, an American whose academic journey took her from studying in Paris to earning a master’s in Publishing in Scotland.
Drawing on her background as a book blogger and indie author, Armstrong set out to build a welcoming and supportive space for romance readers.
Book Lovers Bookshop – Awards
In 2025, the bookshop received the Romance Champion of the Year title at the RNA Awards, thanks to the support and nominations from its community.
In March 2026, BLB was named Scotland’s Indie Bookshop of 2026.
